- Provide day-to-day support for DOI/IA enterprise messaging systems and associated services.
- Support Microsoft 365 Exchange Online (GCC) email, calendaring, messaging, archiving, collaboration, and mobile access capabilities.
- Support creation, modification, and deletion of mailbox accounts in accordance with approved procedures.
- Provide Tier I/II support for email and messaging issues and ensure proper escalation when needed.
- Support approved mobile device management solutions, including account setup, device registration, email access, application support, and user assistance.
- Support government-furnished mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets, in accordance with approved policies.
- Monitor messaging operations for failures, storage use, and service issues, and prepare required reports and notifications.
- Support email-related documentation, user instructions, process flows, and training materials.
- Assist with support for email records searches related to FOIA, IG, or litigation requests, as directed.
- Support messaging-related project work involving updates, migrations, implementation activities, testing, and operational improvement.
- Support an existing rapid notification system for the Albuquerque OIT campus to notify Albuquerque staff of emergency situations.
- Support the creation of new mailbox accounts and delete old mailbox accounts in accordance with DOI/IA procedures and policies.
- Contribute to and recommend email architectures and upgrades.
- Support the approved Mobile device management solution for DOI/IA to include account creation, secure and support devices, emails, applications, device registration, email, and documents.
- Help in documenting an approach for the implementation of updates or migration of government selected enterprise email system by creating a method of maintenance, conversion and developing the processes and procedures for the use/setup of the email system.
- Monitor the operation of tasks in the DOI/IA email enterprise for failures.
- Support mobile device management, configuration and support for all government-furnished mobile computing devices which include smartphones and tablet devices such as iPhones, iPads, Android phones and tablets.
- Respond to and resolve end-user email problems.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Associate's degree, MCSE in Exchange, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2+ years of technical experience supporting or managing enterprise email systems.
- Ability to obtain Public Trust
- Experience supporting mobile device management solutions, such as MaaS360 or similar platforms.
- Experience supporting email account administration, end-user messaging support, and issue resolution.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 Exchange Online (GCC) or other enterprise Microsoft messaging environments.
- Experience supporting mobile computing devices in a managed enterprise environment.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems, escalation procedures, and customer support processes.
- Experience supporting messaging migrations, platform updates, or mobile device initiatives.
- Familiarity with email archiving, records searches, or enterprise messaging compliance support.
- Relevant Microsoft, Exchange, mobile device management, or messaging certifications are preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required government suitability or clearance, if applicable.
- Ability to support technical documentation, reporting, and user support activities.
- Ability to support technical projects, implementation efforts, testing, and related documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of enterprise messaging support and email administration practices.
- Knowledge of Microsoft messaging environments and mobile device support concepts.
- Knowledge of mailbox administration, messaging troubleshooting, and user support processes.
- Skill in resolving messaging and mobile device issues in an enterprise environment.
- Skill in preparing user instructions, reports, and operational documentation.
- Ability to support multiple operational and project-based tasks.
- Ability to communicate effectively with users, technical staff, and management.
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft office software applications (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
- Ability to travel
- Expert levels of interpersonal skills are sufficient to communicate effectively, convince, influence, advice, and respond to questions from leadership, including senior decision makers.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
