Job Description
- Req#: 192516
- Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with corporate standards
- Work within a cross-departmental agile team throughout development process
- Write applications that automate workflows and support the efficiency of internal operations
- Write applications that allow external stakeholders to interface securely with backend processes for straight through processing
- Design and develop data analytics applications with focus on positive client experience and improved business intelligence
- Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget
- Brainstorm and present innovative product ideas for future product and business opportunities
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related discipline (Engineering or Mathematics)
- 3 to 8 years of total experience developing software applications using Microsoft .Net technologies using a multi-tier architecture
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
- Strong experience of T-SQL , .Net framework , WPF , C# and/or VB.Net in the last 5 years
- Strong experience of interacting with database using ADO.Net, Entity Framework or equivalent OR Knowledge of Windows desktop application development with WPF, XAML
- Knowledge of using known version control systems like TFS, GitHub or Subversion
- Knowledge of client/server application development
- Preferred experience of Writing Unit tests using Unit testing frameworks for .Net
- Preferred experience of creating services with Web API, WCF and .Net Core
- The role requires sitting for extended periods of time and the ability to speak and hear. Specific vision abilities include close vision for data entry.

Position Overview
The Mid-Level Software Engineer is responsible for the design, development and testing of desktop applications and web applications. This role works within an agile development team that is focused on building enterprise grade software systems on top of the Microsoft .NET development stack.
