What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Own, manage, and grow a portfolio of high-value insurance and home services accounts across the U.S.
- Build and sustain long-term relationships with carrier and agency partners for ongoing referrals and collaboration.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and customer success to create referral pipelines and increase partner engagement.
- Develop sales strategies based on carrier underwriting priorities and regional risk mitigation needs.
- Negotiate and close partnership agreements, renewals, and expansions while representing the employer at industry events.
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years in B2B sales or account management, ideally in the property & casualty (P&C) insurance sector or related tech-enabled industries.
- Proven track record of managing enterprise/national accounts and exceeding growth goals.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, particularly with executive-level stakeholders.
- Proficient with CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
- Commitment to helping customers protect their homes and reduce risk through proactive technology.
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Comfortable in a startup environment, demonstrating flexibility, resourcefulness, and self-direction.
- Familiarity with smart home, IoT, or risk mitigation technology.
- Background in account management, business development, or producer roles at insurance agencies or MGAs.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and support national rollouts.
