- Job Title - Technical Account Manager
- Job Function - OE Sales
- Report to - VP of Sales - National Accounts OE
- Receiving and analyzing customer technical RFQ documents and engineering requirements
- Deliver project technical requirements to Hankook R&D teams
- Present technical assessments and program timing to customers
- Develop program launch timelines and timing plans
- Act as program manager for new product launches to deliver new products according to the timing plan
- Gain knowledge and understanding of customer communication portals
- Be the lead technical communicator and first contact to customers for all technical items
- Manage and lead quality issue resolution and reporting to customers
- Weekly/monthly reporting on project development and timing status
- Make technical presentations to customers
- Analyze car market technical trends
- Join product testing when necessary
- Gather information related to customer new vehicle plans and future technologies
- Independent Contributor
- Skilled in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and Power Point.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and knowledge of the English language.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline required
- Experience working for a Tier 1 automotive supplier
- Experience working directly with automobile manufacturers
- Tire industry experience preferred but not required

Job Purpose
The Technical Account Manager is responsible for being the technical liaison between the Hankook OE customers (automobile manufacturers) and the internal Hankook teams of Engineering, R&D, Quality, Sales, and Manufacturing.
