      YOUR ROLE
      We are excited to advertise a 12-month contract opportunity to join our Direct Insurance Division (DIA). This pivotal role will provide risk identification management, review, mitigation and reporting alongside business owners aligned to the IAG risk management strategy, risk management framework and risk appetite statement.

      You’ll drive risk maturity uplift and improvement in operational risk culture within the Customer Growth and Marketing divisions. A critical success factor for the role is the ability to engage broadly and communicate effectively within IAG to influence a practical understanding of operational risk. You’ll perform risk event triaging, controls testing, and TPRM assistance.

      This role is open to candidates across major cities in Australia.

      ABOUT YOU

      • Solid experience in general insurance or financial services industry, and risk management or compliance role
      • Relevant industry or specialism qualifications e.g.: ANZIIF, AS/NZSISO 31000:2009 (Risk management -principles and guidelines)
      • You’ll have an understanding of key parameters and decision factors in managing risk effectively and understands the regulatory environment in which we operate
      • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
      • Developed and executed risk and assurance learning frameworks.
