  Relevant Experience	8+ yrs
  Technical/Functional Skills	Senior Consultant – xStore / Java Applications Point of Sale System will be an experienced business and technology specialist responsible to lead, design and implementation of enterprise PoS solution for the retail Pharmacies of Healthcare. This role is a hands-on Java developer, technical contributor, subject matter expert and a technical lead position on xStore / Java applications technologies. Should be able to technically lead a team of developers. Minimum 10 years of development experience in Oracle Applications, particularly xStore PoS implementation experience to large retailers. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the design and development of enterprise-wide vendor and proprietary solutions predominantly in the Oracle Xstore spectrum (Xstore, Xcenter, XAdmin). Hands on development experience on xStore UI and extensions. Hands on Java development in the Xstore extension layer for the timely resolution of production bugs and capital enhancement requests. Write well designed, testable, and efficient code. Contribute in all phases of the Agile software development lifecycle and prepare releases of software components. Lead discussions with internal business partners to identify needs and translate business requirements into detail functional specifications and technical solutions aligning to the architecture. Collaborate with the business and technical organizations to guide the design, and implementation of the pharmacy store systems solutions Defining process and methodologies for solution architecture and implementation Coaching and mentoring IT resources to ensure effective and sustainable solutions Understand the business priorities and opportunities to drive business growth Senior-level implementation professional who has experience in high-profile, complex, and very large implementations Qualifications Proven hands-on Java application development experience, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems. Experience in Weblogic is plus Experience in working with xStore version 20. Strong hands-on experience in planning, testing and executing upgrades and patches. Experience working in enterprise development team environment, familiar with Eclipse, configuration management, and defect tracking tools. Agile Development practitioner experienced with tools such as JIRA/Confluence etc. Solid SQL development skills Excellent interpersonal & communication skills. Able to effectively convey complicated technical information to diverse audiences Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to propose and evaluate technical solution alternatives, assessing the pros and cons of each approach. Extensive knowledge of retail POS processes, including customer facing (sales & returns management, promotions & pricing, loyalty, etc) and back-office (cash management, opening & closing stores). Must be a self-starter that is results-driven. Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent.
