      SUMMARY

      The individual in this role will be trained for the role of a field Territory Manager. The Trainee will have potential opportunity to relocate and transition to a Territory Manager role as opportunity arises. This role is responsible for merchandising, selling and training of independent and local regional retail locations within their assigned territory.

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

      Represents Citizen Watch America Products to prospective and current accounts.
      • Responsible for learning the fluent presentation in concept selling techniques within all prescribed corporate guidelines as relates to pricing, terms, advertising allowances and stock balancing.
      • Travels throughout assigned territory with Territory Mangers or individually to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or service accounts.
      • Participates as active team member in local, regional, and national sales meetings.
      • Learn and execute proper technique for displaying and demonstrating product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes selling features.
      • Understands process for quoting prices and credit terms and preparing sales contracts for orders obtained.
      • Learns process for collecting data and appropriate forms necessary to in order for Credit to evaluate credit worthiness of new accounts.
      • Prepares weekly call reports in a timely manner for submission to Regional VP.
      • Works with respective Territory Manager to understand basic inventory level and assortment at all customer sites and advises Territory Manager regarding needed reorders as necessary.
      • Conducts seminars for retail store personnel to familiarize them with respective brand, the products, features, and service offered.
      • Understands roles and appropriate contacts for support staff in Torrance and New York as well as Regional VP.
      • Understands tools and reports available to maximize sales.
      • Assists the Territory Manager/Credit Department in the collection of delinquent accounts, either in person or by phone.
      • Awareness of effective and proper use of all advertising tool/opportunities/funds within corporate guidelines.

      While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to talk and hear at all times. The employee is required to walk or sit for long periods of time up to 6 hours; and to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

      Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Ability to travel 75% of the time throughout assigned territory via personal vehicle is required.

      Ability to travel via airplane and other means of transportation up to 25% of the time is required.

      EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

      Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and a minimum of three years' experience in the jewelry / watch industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

      Must have knowledge of Microsoft products: Excel, Word, and Power Point.

      Must have the ability to learn computer software.

      Valid and clear driving record.

      This position requires 100% travel throughout the assigned territory.
