Supply Chain Packaging Intern at Granollers
The Supply Chain Packaging Intern will be responsible in the development of new initiatives & improve the Granollers plant competitiveness.
Main responsibilities:
• Contribute to new initiative start-ups (provide inputs in the design phase, support FMEA & project hand over with R&D packaging)
• Originate tertiary packaging specifications (validate end-of-line configurations & run transport tests)
• Manage development of suppliers' capability/capacity (root cause analysis in specs deviation)
• Support Business Continuity Plan (duplicate specs to new suppliers, increase existing suppliers' capacity & apply regulatory requirements)
• Support quality improvement (revisit specification tolerance & modify delivery methods/packing instructions)
• Support continuous improvement (partner with Operations to improve production processes & improvement to impact line efficiency)
• Identify, assess, and implement cost saving opportunities
Main requirements and skills (the ideal fit):
• Bachelor's degree (Engineering, BA and/or similar academic background).
• Packaging passionate
• English (advanced level is mandatory)
• 2D & 3D software literate
• Methodical and organized
• Priority setting and organizational skills
• Written and spoken communication skills
• Results focused - able to react to dynamic environment to deliver the business' needs.
• Collaboration skills - win for the team spirit.
• Strong sense of individual accountability - personal drive to improve status quo and ownership of performance.About the company
