  What you will have an opportunity to do:

  SUMMARY

  Perform facials, make-up applications, waxing services, and provide personal attention to each guest

  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Consult with the guest to analyze skin type and facial treatment required to ensure expectations are met and exceeded for a pleasurable visit
  • Perform various types of esthetics services including facials, make-up applications, and waxing services
  • Cross-trained to perform all services such as body and hydrotherapy treatments, per licensing
  • Prepare facial and waxing equipment, treatment areas and supplies daily, sterilize all instruments in accordance to the law, and complete all tasks necessary for opening and closing shifts.
  • Ensure the privacy of each guest
  • Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of facility
  • Conduct tours of the facility as needed, to ensure a pleasant visit of each guest
  • Maintain consistent spa inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Promote and sell skincare and body products
  • Attend weekly and/or monthly departmental staff meetings as requested
  • Attend product knowledge training as required
  • Work cooperatively with other departments
  • Perform special tasks as requested by the Spa Manager or Spa Director

  COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • Hiring wage range: 36% commission for services provided. Hourly equivalent average for commission ranges from $37 - $69. Hourly tips average ranges from $16 to $27.
  • Retail commission of 15% of retail sales
  • Eligible for 401(k) retirement plan with employer match following 1 year of service under our existing plan
  • 26 hours of sick pay accrued per year based on an employee working 20 hours/week
  • 18 hours of paid time off accrued in the first year based on an employee working 20 hours/week

  What are we looking for?

  QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be proficient in all facets of proper skin care i.e., anatomy, physiology, chemistry, masks, packs, cleansing, massage and superfluous hair removal.
  • Licensed by State Board of Cosmetology, Esthetician or Cosmetologist
  • Minimum of two-years of previous esthetics experience
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Weekend schedule availabilty
