JOB SUMMARY
Northwest Tellers are important members of our retail network team because they often have the most interaction with our customers. Northwest Tellers provide an excellent customer service experience by welcoming customers, efficiently processing transactions, resolving problems and uncovering financial needs for referral to the appropriate line of business.QUALIFICATIONS

WORK EXPERIENCE
1 - 3 years - Customer service experience
1 - 3 years - Cash handling experience
1 - 3 years - Banking and/or Retail experienceESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Provide the best customer experience possible by being courteous and efficient to all customers, in person or over the telephone
• Communicate with customers to recognize cross-selling opportunities
• Contribute to the overall sales performance of the office team
• Educate and/refer Northwest solutions that meet our customer/client needs through the Northwest 360 model – bank, borrow, invest, and insure
• Complete educational training as assigned
• Participate in regular office meetings
• Contribute to the office’s success of operations and audit
• Able to work evening hours and weekends as scheduled or assigned
ADDITIONAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Ensure compliance with Northwest’s policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulations
• Navigate Microsoft Office Software, computer applications, and software specific to the department in order to maximize technology tools and gain efficiencyEMPLOYEE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• Ability to establish effective working relationships among team members and participate in solving problems and making decisions
• Ability to present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to the audience, whether oral or written
• Ability to actively listen to what others are saying to achieve understanding, sharing information with others and facilitating the open exchange of ideas and information
• Ability to establish courses of action for self to accomplish specific goals, develop and use tracking systems for monitoring own work progress, and effectively use resources such as time and information
