      Position Overview

      The Partner Development Specialist is an entry-level role supporting the growth and success of PartnerCentric's Partnership Development Center of Excellence. This role focuses on researching, recruiting, onboarding, and nurturing high-value affiliate and partnership opportunities to help drive performance and revenue growth for our clients.

      As a key player within the Partnerships team, the Specialist will collaborate closely with senior team members and cross-functional departments to support the success of strategic partner relationships, manage administrative and reporting tasks, and contribute to PartnerCentric's reputation as a leader in the affiliate marketing space.

      Key Responsibilities
      1. Partner Recruitment & Support
      • Proactively identify and pursue prospective partners aligned with client goals, leveraging PartnerCentric's internal technology tools to support data-driven partner sourcing and prioritization.
      • Craft and send engaging outreach communications that reflect a sales-driven mindset.
      • Assist in the onboarding process for new partners, ensuring a smooth setup and integration experience.
      • Focus on activating newly onboarded partners and driving early-stage productivity within client programs to accelerate value generation.
      • Maintain detailed records of partner outreach, statuses, and relationship notes in internal systems.
      • Strategic growth mindset as it relates to scaling high-performing partners across other programs.
      2. Administrative and Relationship Support
      • Manage and update partner databases to ensure accurate tracking of communications, agreements, and performance.
      • Support the Partnerships team by scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and compiling reports that partners can access.
      • Assist in managing partner communications, such as newsletters, updates, and promotional opportunities.
      3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
      • Work with internal teams including Client Services, Marketing, and Technology to support partnership activation and education initiatives.
      • Help organize internal training sessions and contribute to the creation of partner resource materials and case studies.
      4. Performance Tracking & Reporting
      • Monitor partner performance metrics and assist in compiling regular performance summaries and insights for internal use.
      • Use tracking platforms to pull data and provide basic analysis that supports decision-making and partner optimization.
      A Week in the Life: Partner Development Specialist

      Monday: Join the weekly Partnerships team huddle; review and prioritize partner outreach and onboarding tasks.
      Tuesday: Research potential new partners for a client campaign and initiate strategic outreach with senior guidance.
      Wednesday: Assist in compiling a partner performance report for a client business review.
      Thursday: Support the team during a joint planning meeting with a tech partner by taking notes and helping with follow-up tasks.
      Friday: Attend an internal training session on a new partner platform integration; update the partner contact database and reflect on learnings for the week.
      Qualifications
      • 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing, affiliate marketing, partnerships, sales, or a related field (internships and entry-level experience welcome).
      • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
      • Curiosity and willingness to learn about the affiliate, influencer, and content commerce ecosystems.
      • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, CRM systems, and affiliate tracking platforms (prior experience is a plus, but not required).
      • Self-motivated, proactive, and collaborative work style in a remote environment.
      • Natural inclination toward sales-oriented tasks like outreach, lead generation, and relationship-building.
      Preferred Attributes
      • Experience with partner management tools (e.g., Impact, Partnerize, Rakuten, ShareASale) is a bonus.
      • Interest in digital marketing, e-commerce, and partnership strategy.
      • Comfortable in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment with a strong focus on client outcomes.
      • Enthusiasm for supporting diverse client verticals and innovative marketing strategies.
      • Enjoys the challenge of finding and engaging new partners to help drive mutual business growth.
