      Overview

      Plays a vital role in assisting patients with understanding and managing their financial responsibilities related to medical care. Guides patients through insurance verification, explaining benefits, and coordinating payment plans or financial assistance programs. Communicates to resolve billing inquiries and collaborates with healthcare providers and billing departments to maintain accurate account information. Educates patients on financial resources, monitors outstanding balances, and ensures thorough documentation of all interactions and arrangements.

      • Verifies insurance coverage and explains benefits to patients.
      • Coordinates payment plans and financial assistance programs.
      • Resolves billing inquiries and collaborates with providers and billing departments.
      • Educates patients on available financial resources.
      • Monitors outstanding balances and documents all interactions.

      Qualifications

      • 2+ years experience in financial services quality auditing
      • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and internal control standards
      • Experience conducting audits and preparing detailed reports
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
      • Ability to train staff on quality standards and best practices
