What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor accuracy of fee structure and reimbursement payment schedules
- Resolve complex billing situations and provide guidance to billing/clerical staff
- Carry out clinical documentation requests to ensure timely appeals
- Implement improvements for financial management of billing areas
- Assist in implementing policies and procedures to facilitate billing
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1-3 years of relevant experience required
- Prior billing experience
- Experience working in a physician's office or hospital setting
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of experience as an Rx Technician or Customer Service Representative in a healthcare-related service
