What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Screen patients and process Financial Assistance Applications
- Communicate with patients via phone, email, and written correspondence to respond to inquiries and obtain required documents
- Assist patients with application process for outreach programs and certifications
- Resolve outstanding patient accounts and establish payment plans
- Work with insurance companies, government agencies, and other parties to secure appropriate payment

What is Required (Qualifications):
- College coursework in accounting, business, medical terminology, communication, or social work preferred
- Minimum of one year experience in collections, customer service, billing, or related medical field preferred
- Proficient use of computers including MS Office applications
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

- Familiarity with government, commercial, and third-party billing
