      Job Description:
      • The Patient Services Representative I represents the face of the organization to patients who visit as part of their health routine or for important health decisions.
      • This role is responsible for drawing high-quality blood samples, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and following established practices and procedures.
      • The role involves direct patient interaction and creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence while delivering services in a safe, accurate, and professional manner.
      • The position demonstrates leadership behaviors with a focus on process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy of patient information.
      Responsibilities:
      • Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
      • Maintain a safe and professional environment.
      • Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties in accordance with established practices and procedures.
      • Maintain required records and documentation.
      • Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
      Requirement/Must Have:
      • Ability to provide high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
      • Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
      • Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
      • Availability to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
      Qualification And Education:
      • High school diploma or equivalent required.
      • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
      • Phlebotomy certification preferred.
      Experience:
      • Minimum of six months of phlebotomy experience required.
      • One or more years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
      • Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
      • Keyboard and data entry experience required.
