- The Polysomnographic Technologist performs various polysomnograms and other sleep disorder tests under the direction of the Sleep Lab Medical Director.
- Responsible for electrode attachment and monitoring of patients who are participating in a sleep study. Monitors the patient throughout the sleep study and documents observations, collects data from various monitors and reports this information to the physician.
- Responsible for CPAP titration and oxygen therapy when applicable. Scores reports.
- The Technologist should be able to use the AASM Inter Scorer Reliability program scoring 200 pages of a Sleep Record each month with scoring graded by the AASM.
- Technical/Vocational Training
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) required upon hire
- BLS required upon hire
