What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide technical assistance to up to 100 farmers in adopting conservation practices
- Promote the Precision Conservation Management (PCM) program and specific conservation practices
- Collaborate with PCM management on program objectives and communicate effectively with team members
- Conduct farmer meetings and trainings, ensuring effective knowledge transfer
- Collect and maintain detailed records of farmer management data and program activities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural management, production agriculture, agronomy, or agricultural economics
- Proven ability to prioritize a varied workload and deliver results on time
- Willingness to travel extensively within the multi-county area to meet farmers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with data entry into online platforms and Excel
- Excellent interpersonal skills to manage professional relationships with farmers and stakeholders

- Understanding of current farming practices, nitrogen application techniques, and nitrogen loss concerns
- Self-motivated with a proven ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Experience in conducting on-farm research and data collection
