What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee and manage health screening and educational health promotion events
- Provide both individual and group education on core health improvement programs
- Promote initiatives including smoking cessation, adult immunizations, heart health, and cancer prevention
- Support members in managing chronic illnesses through customized wellness programs
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to improve overall health and patient outcomes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Valid RN License in Virginia
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Non-Degree RN Diploma
- Current BLS Certification
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in Community Nursing
- Background in Health Prevention or Health Education
- Familiarity with managing Diabetes or Cardiac Risk patients
