      The Opportunity

      Search and discovery are key pillars of the Adobe Cloud strategy. Our goal is to empower our customers’ digital journeys with semantic search, visual search, browse, discovery and recommendations of creative content, documents, tools, tutorials and other assets meaningful to our customers. We aim to understand our customers intent and provide the assets they need right when they need them. This includes personal content such as photos and videos, team and enterprise assets, and marketplace assets. Our search & discovery platform indexes over 50B documents and serves 200M requests per day with integrations across Adobe products and surfaces.

      How can you participate? We’re looking for Principal Product Manager to help define and build our next-generation technologies and experiences to help customers find, browse and discover the content and assets that enable them to achieve their creative and document goals. As Product Manager, you will own platform requirements and work closely with the search engineering and partner teams to bring the vision to life. It requires deep understanding of the technologies, machine learning methods, and great customer experiences. This is a chance to create a huge impact in a fast-paced environment across a wide range of products and customers in a great company.

      What you’ll do

      You will be responsible for the planning and execution throughout the lifecycle of product and features development, including:

      • Take product ownership for Adobe’s Search & Discovery platform. In addition, you will help to build a highly scalable, performant system to power search, browse and recommendations for marketplace, enterprise and individually owned digital assets, as well as community, web, tutorial, and other content.
      • Drive the vision for next-generation capabilities, APIs, services, and experiences and map out the path to integrating discovery use cases across Adobe web, mobile and desktop products.
      • Define the strategy for evaluating investments and trade-offs, and develop and drive iterative improvements in critical metrics that measure customer success and business impact.
      • Drive all applicable compliance, privacy, legal, AI Ethics and security requirements
      • Collaborate with global engineering, product and partner teams to establish requirements, plan and prioritize work. Communicating progress within the search teams and across collaborator teams will also be key.

      What you need to succeed

      • Technical product management leadership experience, including working with highly diverse and global teams.
      • Proven delivering cloud-scale, data-driven products and services that are widely adopted with large customer bases
      • Roadmap definition and execution, with an emphasis on cloud based content/asset management platforms.
      • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills as you'll be interacting across product and engineering leaders at various levels
      • Ability to lead in an environment of ambiguity with diverse partners and independently drive initiatives end-to-end
      • Articulate and persuasive while able to listen and incorporate the perspectives of others
      • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills to be able to coordinate complicated projects
      • BS or MS in Computer Science or background in a strong scientific subject area
      • 5+ years of demonstrated ability with search engine technologies, Information retrieval and indexing technology and search relevancy experience

      Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $114,000 -- $220,900 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.       At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

      In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
