- DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).
- Analyzes and proposes improvements to automated and manual processes
- Supports and drives continuous improvement for squad, processes and procedures; applies lessons-learned from previous experiences and assignments
- Provides on-the-job training for new staff
- Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk; calls out appropriately.
- Document and clearly articulate the test approach for each sprint/release/project.
- Interpret User Stories into Acceptance Criteria and test scenarios.
- Identify regression test cases and scripts
- Document defects clearly and concisely in JIRA.
- Minimum of 10 years of financial services experience, Derivatives industry a plus
- Minimum of 10 years of IT experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Requires knowledge of the software delivery process and Agile methodology.
- Experience with Quality tools JIRA, HP ALM
- Experience with automation tools Selenium and Jenkins.
- Experience with TOAD, SQL, PL/SQL and Java.
- Solid grasp of DTCC’s business lines, products/functions and technologies
- Business experience with financial services applications
- Good communication, organizational, and follow-up skills
- Demonstrable understanding of securities industry and systems environment
- Ability to perform business process analysis and create efficient solutions
- Ability to analyze business trends, identify improvements, and assess impact of actions on customers

The impact you will have in this role :
Being a member of Enterprise Test Engineering team, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance and execution of Functional Test Scripts. The Principal Test Engineer works closely in the design and development of test automation tools, collaborates with the entire squad in understanding the functional and technical design. Monitors adherence to test management best practices including the usage of JIRA, ALM and BitBucket. Very solid experience in an Agile development environment in a global organization. Work with both business clients and technical teams. Acts in an advisory role to other test engineers. Should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
