STP employees enjoy the following benefits: Competitive compensation plus a performance bonus; Unlimited PTO; 10 Paid Holidays; Strong 401k Matching program; Competitive, highly subsidized health benefits (Medical, Vision, Dental, Life, and Disability Insurance); Volunteer Time Off (VTO).

      Summary

STP Investment Services is seeking a driven and knowledgeable Private Fund Compliance Sales Representative to grow our Compliance and Regulatory Services business, ComplianceAdvisor. This dynamic role offers strong growth potential and uncapped commission, plus a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, progressive environment.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record selling outsourced/co-sourced compliance, regulatory, or related professional services to private fund advisers - including private equity firms, hedge funds, venture capital firms, and real estate fund managers. This includes the ability to sell to and credibly engage Chief Compliance Officers, General Counsel, COOs, CFOs, and Managing Partners. A working understanding of the regulatory landscape facing registered and exempt investment advisers is essential - as is the ability to translate regulatory risk and exam exposure into clear business value.

The incumbent must have demonstrated success selling into small and mid-sized investment managers and emerging fund managers across the private fund space. Successful candidates will have exceptional communication, presentation, and team skills, and the ability to run a clear, metric-driven sales process that consistently meets and exceeds targets. Self-motivation and the ability to learn quickly in a rapidly evolving regulatory environment are key to success.

      Essential Functions
      • Proactively identify, qualify, and pursue prospective private fund clients, serving as a true hunter focused on building new pipeline and generating revenue opportunities.
      • Perform extensive lead generation: continually identify and qualify new opportunities by building trusted relationships and maximizing enterprise sales programs, campaigns, and content-driven digital programming
      • Manage the entire sales process - from lead identification and opportunity development through presentations, demonstrations, and close
      • Deliver a highly consultative sales approach that positions STP's compliance solutions against each prospect's regulatory obligations, exam readiness, and the cost of in-house vs. outsourced compliance
      • Be the face of STP in the marketplace through direct sales, consultant/industry relationships, and general industry engagement
      • Stay current on regulatory developments, enforcement trends, market activity, and competitors to identify service improvements and new opportunities
      • Collaborate with a modern marketing team to drive brand awareness and generate qualified pipeline

      Travel

This role may be fully remote. Incumbent will be expected to travel between 25-50% of the time.

      Required Education and Experience
      • 5+ years of sales experience selling compliance, regulatory, legal, fund administration, or related professional services into private fund advisers, RIAs, or financial services firms
      • Bachelor's Degree required
      • Working knowledge of the regulatory obligations facing private fund advisers and the value of outsourced/co-sourced compliance support
      • Proven history of exceeding targets in a consultative, solution-oriented sales environment
      • Ability to organize and lead meetings with compliance, legal, and C-level stakeholders
      • Maintains a strong referral network with strategic partners and other influencing parties (e.g., fund counsel, administrators, auditors, prime brokers)
      • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with prospective clients and partners via office visits, telephone, conferences, and industry events
      • High degree of self-motivation, positive attitude, high energy, and a strong desire to succeed in sales and relationship management
      • Ability to work with subject matter experts to resolve inquiries and close new business
      • Ability to multi-task and manage sales, marketing, and relationship management initiatives

      Preferred Education and Experience
      • Experience with CRM and sales enablement platforms
      • Prior experience at a compliance consulting firm, fund administrator, law firm, or regulatory technology provider serving private funds
      • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., compliance, regulatory, or securities credentials) a plus
