What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the subject matter expert on annuity product calculations, ensuring accuracy in implementation
- Support the design and ideation of new annuity products, including calculation modeling
- Partner with technology teams to implement product calculations across multiple platforms
- Provide technical support to sales, addressing advisor and wholesaler inquiries on product features
- Collaborate with IT, Sales, Operations, and Actuarial teams to bring new products from concept to launch
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field
- 8+ years of product development, actuarial, or related financial services experience
- Strong experience with actuarial calculations and complex annuity product calculations
- Background in financial services or investments, with annuity expertise preferred
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a business-facing actuarial role
- Familiarity with regulatory filings and product compliance
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with various teams
- Experience in product development within the annuity sector
