  The role of a Product Owner is crucial in the development and management of a product or a product line within an organization. The Product Owner serves as the bridge between the development team and the stakeholders, with the primary responsibility of maximizing the value of the product and ensuring its successful delivery. Here is a comprehensive job description of a Product Owner:

  1. Define Product Vision and Strategy:
     • Define and communicate the product vision and long-term strategy to the development team and stakeholders.
     • Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and identify customer needs to shape the product roadmap.
     • Collaborate with key stakeholders to align product goals with overall business objectives.
  2. Develop Product Roadmap and Planning:
     • Create and maintain a prioritized product backlog, ensuring that it is continuously refined and up-to-date.
     • Collaborate with the development team to define and plan product releases, including sprint planning and backlog grooming.
     • Translate high-level requirements into actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and product specifications.
  3. Stakeholder Management:
     • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, gathering feedback, managing expectations, and ensuring their needs are addressed.
     • Conduct regular meetings and presentations to update stakeholders on the product's progress, upcoming features, and release timelines.
     • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, sales, and customer support, to align product strategy with their requirements.
  4. Agile Development and Team Collaboration:
     • Work closely with the development team, providing clear guidance and prioritization of tasks during sprints.
     • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, fostering an environment of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.
     • Make timely decisions and resolve conflicts to keep the development process on track and ensure successful product delivery.
  5. Product Quality and User Experience:
     • Define and communicate clear product requirements, ensuring that the development team understands the expected outcomes.
     • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly product interfaces.
     • Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate and improve the product based on user needs and preferences.
  6. Product Performance Analysis and Optimization:
     • Monitor key product metrics, analyze data, and gather insights to identify areas of improvement.
     • Make data-driven decisions to optimize the product's performance, address issues, and capitalize on growth opportunities.
     • Continuously evaluate market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

  BE/ B.Tech / ME/ M.Tech in CS or ECE

  Required Skill-Set:

  10+ years of experience

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in an agile development environment.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies, product management principles, and software development processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data to drive product decisions.
  • Standards and State of the art Simulation based V&V concept should be known.
  • Know- how of Virtualization concepts.
  • Awareness of all the latest standards and offerings on Simulation tools from leading vendors.
  • C++, Python, ROS knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Good to have know how on Simulation Interface standards : FMU , FMI , OSI 2.0
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proactive and adaptable, with a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest technology trends and industry advancements in tool development.
  • Exposure to ADAS domain is added advantage.
