      Job Title: Production Operator

      Job Description

      As a Production Operator, you will play a crucial role in the Mixing and Filling Departments. You will be responsible for mixing pigments with solvents and water, filling paint gallons, labeling products, and performing visual quality inspections. You will operate and maintain mixing equipment, scales, and other tools while adhering to SAP and internal systems for production tracking. Compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations is essential, as is maintaining a clean and organized work area following 5S principles. Reporting any deviations or opportunities for improvement is also part of your role.

      Responsibilities

      • Mix pigments with solvents and water in the Mixing Department.
      • Fill paint gallons, label products, and perform visual quality inspections in the Filling Department.
      • Operate and maintain mixing equipment, scales, and other tools.
      • Follow SAP and internal systems for production tracking.
      • Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
      • Keep work area clean and organized, adhering to 5S principles.
      • Report any deviations or improvement opportunities.

      Work Environment

      The work schedule includes openings in the Mixing Department from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM and in the Filling Department from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Overtime is available but not required on weekends. The environment is climate-controlled, calm, clean, and features music playing on the production floor.

      This is a Permanent position based out of North Charleston, SC.

      The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $43680.00/yr.
