- Conducting Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) transactions to ensure appropriate material flow within plant and between other plants.
- Receiving, processing and distributing work orders, materials and parts to areas needed to complete production and/or customer work orders.
- Checking to ensure that materials in process are controlled and accounted for at all times.
- Assisting the Production Coordinator to ensure production quantities and product mix balance within each area.
- Assisting Production Coordinator in maintaining adequate inventory of tools, material supplies and findings component parts.
- Maintaining an accurate inventory through established cycle counting procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently including, but not limited to:
- Ability to read and understand written and computerized work processes, MPS reports, safety instructions, etc.
- Ability to accurately determine weights and measurements.
- Data Entry experience into either a centralized computer system or personal computer software system.
- Knowledge of manufacturing core and/or supplemental processes.
- Ability to work independently with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to pass a background check as well as an alcohol and illegal drug screen.
This position will support the Production Coordinator in controlling the flow of work and materials between manufacturing areas and/or retail stores according to production schedule and/or customer work orders. They will also rotate between all areas of workflow and material flow within manufacturing from start to finish. This position is for 2nd shift (Monday - Thursday, 5:00PM - 3:30AM) at our plant in Hondo, TX and is a PERMANENT FULL-TIME position. Additional pay for all hours worked on 2nd shift.
