Job Description

- Must be able to safely work with automated industrial equipment, including operation, change over and basic maintenance
- Report all food safety and quality issues to immediate Supervisor and Quality Technician. Immediately report any safety issues to the supervisor, maintenance, or management.
- Responsible for the overall safety, quality, and efficiency of their work center
- Comply with all company SOP’s, GMP’s, and SQF regulations
- Maintain a neat and sanitary work area
- Operate automated Packing line per SOP instructions
- Ensure line is sanitized using specified procedures
- Apply product specific labels and best by labeling
- Palletize pails/drums per Puratos product specific requirements
- Perform any other duties as instructed by the management
- Candidates with experience in a manufacturing, light industrial, or job shop environment preferred
- Must complete skill assessments with passing scores as defined by Puratos
- Must be able to use production computer screens as instructed
- Must have a positive attitude and willing to learn
- Must demonstrate the ability to communicate both verbal and in written form in English
- Must demonstrate the ability to read and understand system instruction and training materials
- Must be able to work overtime, including weekends, when mandated in accordance with the contract
- Must be able to follow instructions
- Must have passed company physical when required
- Must be able to lift 50 lb
- Frequent pushing or pulling of material and/or equipment. Frequent standing and walking
- Attendance record must be in good standing
- SQF training, GMP training, SOP training is a plus
- High School Degree preferred, additional education is a plus
