      Our Client, a Automotive Manufacturing company, is looking for a Production Supervisor 3 for their Wentzville, MO location.

      Responsibilities:
      • The main function of a production supervisor is to supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers.
      • Recommend measures to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
      • Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.
      • Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, and maintenance to detect production problems.
      • Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff, and resolve personal grievances.
      • Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records.

      Business Group & Responsibilities –
      • Responsible for the quality of the plant
      • Responsible for 15-20 items on each vehicle to make sure everything is present and in speck, check to make sure nothing is damaged
      • They are in charge of verification stations - they have a total of 16 VS
      • This person will be supervising approx. 25-28 people
      • They are in charge of the people at the VS stations, 5 programmers, and 2 TL
      • The 5 programmers program the vehicle
      • 2 Team leads that will work for them and they will review metrics with these team leads (red/green) how they are performing
      • They will take care of payroll, misc. paperwork and make sure everything is completed
      • They will be required to send out end of shift notes and communicate things to their counterparts to make sure they are all aligned

      Requirements:
      • Verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and problem solving skills.
      • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
      • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
      • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.
      • Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models.
      • High school diploma or GED required. Associate's degree in business or related field preferred.
      • 5-7 years experience required.
      • A LOT of communication in this role, must be a good communicator
      • Have the ability to address people
      • Years of experience – at least 5 years (flexible on this)
      • Wants to see 3 years of leadership experience
      • Supervising Union experience preferred – people who have this experience are usually successful in this position
      • Auditor – they previously had someone who came from this background and they did really well because they understand the process, documentation, computers and also had leadership experience
      • Leadership experience – 3 years
      • Excel experience – they deal with Kronos to payroll
