Job Description

- Production Technician £13.29 per hour
- 2 Days on and 2 Nights on followed by 4 rest days
- 06:00am - 18:00pm / 18:00pm – 06:00am

- To safely operate relevant machinery in accordance with Health & Safety & technical standards, as well as relevant procedures
- Accurate and timely completion of relevant traceability documentation for the particular machine in accordance with company procedure and legal requirements
- To lead and drive standards of quality, food safety, hygiene and housekeeping within your area through Good Manufacturing Practice
- To ensure that both Bakkavor and customer standards are kept, and audit requirements are fully met
- To perform manual handling (in accordance with manual handling training) that may be required as part of the role
- Conscientiousness; attention to detail
- Problem solving/fault finding techniques
- Flexibility regarding working unsociable days and hours if required
- Good numeracy, literacy and PC ability
- Good verbal and written communication skills

Production Technician - Barton-upon-Humber- Bakkavor Barton Bread
This particular role is at our Bakkavor Bread site based in Barton-upon-Humber, close to the Humber Bridge. This factory specialises in making chilled speciality baguettes at high volume and employs over 160 people. The site is located 14 miles from Hull, 16 miles from Scunthorpe and 24 miles from Grimsby.
