!*!The Division of Sleep and Circadian Disorders in the Department of Medicine at the Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH), Boston, MA invites applications for a full-time clinical faculty position, including appointment as Program Director for BWH’s Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) accredited Sleep Medicine fellowship program. Applicants must have an M.D. or D.O. degree and be board eligible or certified in Sleep Medicine. Additionally, applicants must have expertise in the clinical management of sleep disorders and expert skills in teaching clinical sleep medicine across levels of trainees. Administrative expertise in developing and administrating academic training programs is highly desirable. The successful candidate will have skills in one or more of the following areas: clinical sleep disorders management and utilization of all sleep medicine diagnostic and therapeutic tools, quality improvement, clinical research, clinical innovation, as well as medical education, and will assist with the leadership of the clinical sleep disorders program in the Division of Sleep and Circadian Disorders. The Program Director will lead and oversee the joint clinical sleep medicine fellowship training program at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, to prepare trainees to practice competently and independently as sleep specialists with the ability to diagnose, treat and manage patients with any sleep disorder. In addition, the Program Director will foster a learning environment that promotes the goal of developing trainees with an interest in pursuing academic career paths. The applicant must have at least three years of participation as an active faculty member in an ACGME-accredited education program and previously serving as a Program Director or Associate Program Director is preferred. This position is eligible for an academic appointment at Harvard Medical School at the rank of Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor, commensurate with experience, achievement, recognition, and teaching. All HMS faculty are expected to devote a minimum of 50 hours per year to teaching Harvard learners
