- The Program Manager is responsible for ensuring programs meet and/or exceed business goals.
- They will provide strategic guidance to teams and Project Managers in ways that promote the company’s culture.
- Critical responsibilities include understanding the business strategies, establishing program plans to track incremental program milestones, interdependencies and resources.
- The role would network and partner with Operations management, Information Technology management and/or third-parties, to oversee efforts to resolve complex problems, and respond and deliver timely and cost-effectively quality solutions.
- The Program Manager will develop business metrics for assigned programs to track performance relative to business goals and success criteria.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or other related field is highly preferred.
- Five years of experience directing or overseeing multiple large scale projects with a highly diverse team.
- Certification in project management is required or must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
- Certification in program management or in the application process is required within 36 months.
- This position requires a valid driver’s license and that the employee is insurable by the Avera Health Automobile Liability Insurance carrier.
- Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm; 80 hours every 2 weeks
- Occasional weekends as needed and based on active projects
