Programme Manager Opportunities
The Ventia Telecommunications team are seeking internal expressions of interest for a couple of exciting leadership opportunities in both the Wireless and Fixed Network parts of the business. Permanent and fixed-term options are available. Requirements:
• 10years experience in telco is preferred
• Previous experience leading a team in either a wireless or fixed network programme of works/telecommunications infrastructure project
• Excellent SHEQ record
High level overview of duties and responsibilities
• Lead the coordination and delivery programme for our NZ Telco projects.
• Ensure project controls and reporting responsibilities are put in place and supported.
• Ensure contractual obligations are identified and understood.
• Identify any potential contract variations and agree the appropriate action to address the change.
• Achieve the annual performance targets
• Manage the profitability of the programme by overseeing budget expenditure, conducting regular reviews against plan and budget and taking corrective actions as required.
• Support a best-practice culture of innovative thinking, striving for ever greater efficiencies and cost-reduction across the projects.
• Ensure sub-contractor relationships are robust and sub-contractor performance is regularly reviewed.NOTE: Only internal applicants will be considered.
