Job Description

- Provide high quality therapeutic evidenced-based and client-centred interventions in a professional, confidential and culturally safe manner.
- Undertake comprehensive assessments (using clinical observations and standardised assessments) and interpret findings to formulate treatment goals.
- Be responsible for supporting and managing your case load.
- Support Participants and other stakeholders to develop and review support plans.
- Collaborate with other Health Professionals and key stakeholders regarding client’s care.
- Complete case notes, reports and other correspondence in line with required standards, relevant legislative requirements and ethical guidelines.
- Attend monthly team meetings, and team led in-services.
- Mobile and laptop will be provided to you.
- Learning opportunities – weekly 1:1 supervision, monthly group supervision are provided. You will also have access to ongoing training tailored to your interests and long-term goals combined with professional development opportunities with Ability Action Australia and our parent company MedHealth

- Current registration with AHPRA as a Provisional Psychologist.
- A high standard for of professional ethics
- Working with Children’s Check and Police check
- Drivers Licence (minimum Provisional) and access to own car

As the AAA Psychology team is rapidly growing, we are seeking a highly dedicated Provisional Psychologist to enter our supportive, respectful and professional workplace within in NDIS space. You will be working within a passionate multi-disciplinary team located in Penrith, which includes Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Behaviour Support Practitioners, and Exercise Physiologists. Full-Time and Part-time (min. 3 days) positions are available.
At AAA, the Provisional Psychologist’s primary role is to support NDIS participants in line with AHPRA and NDIS regulations and client goals. Some of your responsibilities will include:
