We’re looking for a Software Engineer in Test who can work with cross-functional teams to perform both manual testing and automation. We’re looking for software QA Engineers to:
  
  • analyse business requirements for the applications managed within the crew that support post trade activity
  • design, plan and deliver Test Plan, Test Suites for the applications in scope
  • provide necessary Technical support to Asset Management Operations for BAU activities
  • evaluate and test code according to specifications
  • collaborate with Business and developers to prepare test cases, test data and test plans
  • execute test cases and analyse results
  • create logs to document testing phases and defects
  • report bugs and errors to development teams
  • document and implement testing scenarios for new features
  • perform different level of tests, keeping track of execution result as evidence.
  • support E2E testing, Integration testing, Regression testing, Performance Testing, System Testing
  • manage/upgrade existing QA test automation framework using Selenium Java Test NG framework

  Your team

  You’ll be working in the Asset Management Trade and Cash Management crew, as part of the Asset Management Technology Division. We provide technology support to our business counterparts in the Asset Management. As a Quality Assurance practitioner you’ll play an important role in supporting the Post Trade processing environment.

  Your expertise

  • 10+ years of experience in the software testing industry with hands on experience in automation testing using selenium
  • specific prior experience and knowledge on trade flow application and swift messages is preferred and knowledge of trade lifecycle and swift messaging is an advantage
  • should have prior experience in agile methodologies ,preferably scrum
  • should be familiar with oracle and ms sql databases testing, and sql queries for testing
  • should be familiar with of gitlab, ci-cd pipeline, maven, autosys jobs, cucumber, api testing
  • complying with test strategy, testing standards, templates, and test plan
  • creation test plan, reporting on testing progress, completion report for application releases and ensuring defect management
  • performing functional testing to assess for accuracy, suitability, interoperability, functional, accessibility , excellent knowledge of software testing life cycle, sdlc
  • co-ordination between business users team for uat sign off
