      Summary

      The Quality Manager works with multi-functional teams of Design, Device, Process, Test, Reliability, Operations, New Product Introduction and as well as Global Supply Chain Managers to ensure the creation and supply of top quality products. In this highly-visible technical role, you will demonstrate your outstanding ability to combine knowledge of optics, electronics, materials science, manufacturing process, process controls and Quality engineering. Working with cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver results on a tight timeline is a must. You will lead a team of reliability and quality engineers.

      Key Qualifications

      • +10 years experience in semiconductor process engineering, semiconductor product development or mass production
      • Experience with modern high volume semiconductor fabrication processes (Litho, etch, implant, oxidation, thin films, wafer acceptance testing and high-volume test solutions
      • Strong understanding of relationship between assembly/package and product performance.
      • Expertise in problem solving methods and ability to moderate root cause analysis to enable teams to solve complex problems
      • Experience in data analysis tools and hands-on data evaluation
      • Expertise in consumer electronics quality requirements as defined for semiconductor products.
      • Experience in transferring technologies from development into mass production
      • Experience in leading teams of quality and reliability engineers.
      • Record of owning and driving complex projects in X-functional working environments to completion
      • Familiar with ISO 9001/IATF16949, and ISO 14001 systems and standards, FMEA,
      • Experience in Supplier Quality Engineering
      • Excellent project management skills: Program / Project Management experience preferred
      • Strong organizational, documentation and presentation/communication skills

      Description

      The Quality Manager is responsible for the definition and maintenance of Quality Standards in Engineering. Responsibilities include Owning tasks to set up and achieve quality targets for existing products as well as new products in development. Owning Quality, Reliability & Yield responsibility for the internal development and for external suppliers Executing audits of suppliers/vendors for processes, products, and systems in development Setting up and Executing Change control management, document control and data management processes Initiate/Lead teams to solve problems related to processes, products, and systems. Drive corrective action and/or improvement activities. Establishing and executing Reliability/Quality Requirements documents

      Education & Experience

      M.S. in Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering Preferred: ASQ Quality Certification, CQE, CQT, CQA, Green Belt, Black Belt, coordination experience for 8D problem solving, FMEA,

      • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $161,000 and $278,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
