What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the implementation of a patient-centric model involving physicians, clinics, and hospitals
- Develop and maintain strategic long-term relationships with Centers of Excellence and key health systems
- Serve as the primary resource for physicians and healthcare providers on tools and resources for rare disease patients
- Execute strategic business and account plans based on brand strategy and local market conditions
- Provide high-level clinical education and support to healthcare providers managing patients with rare CAH disease
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS/BA degree AND 8+ years of sales experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry, including 5+ years calling on prescribers of specialized products
- Proven sales performance with documented accomplishments in specialty pharmaceutical or biotech markets
- Experience in rare diseases preferred, with prior experience calling on Key Accounts and academic institutions
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage shifting responsibilities
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record as frequent driving is required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree preferred AND 6+ years of relevant experience, OR PhD with 4+ years of experience
- Experience with products in specialty pharmacy distribution/Hub Model
- Previous start-up or market development experience
- Demonstrated ability to analyze sales data to identify business opportunities
- Passion for Patient and Caregiver Programs
