- Serve as the primary liaison for union-related activities and ensure adherence to policies.
- Monitor and update employment law compliance across locations.
- Manage HR functions including employee relations, health and safety, compensation, and training.
- Develop and deliver internal communications.
- Facilitate training modules and resolve employee issues fairly.
- Participate in collective bargaining and union activities.
- Coach managers on performance and talent development.
- Maintain meticulous records for decision-making support.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
- At least 8 years of HR Business Partner experience, preferably in hospitality, food service, or airport industries.
- Experience in collective bargaining activities.
- Proficient in US labor laws; Canadian knowledge is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% within US and Canada.
