What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide overall quality supervision of prescribing clinicians within the assigned region
- Advise staff on administrative changes and recommend measures to improve medical services
- Align medical staff with organization goals and ensure care meets Telecare's standards of excellence
- Participate in recruitment, retention, and credentialing of medical staff
- Act as the Medical Director of designated facilities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a medical leader with recruitment and supervision responsibilities
- Minimum of 5 years' clinical experience in treating adults with serious mental illness
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school and completion of psychiatry residency training program
- Active Medical License in good standing within the assigned region
- Successful completion of post-offer physical examination, background clearances, and other applicable requirements
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience as a Medical Director
- Experience with physician engagement and alignment to organizational initiatives
- Board Certification in Psychiatry
- Advanced degree in business or certification in physician leadership
