Learn more at gore.com/products/industries About the Role: We are looking for a Regional Plant Leader (RPL) to join our Medical Products Division (MPD) Plant Operations organization. In this role, you will coordinate a variety of support activities for the plant, ensuring consistency and alignment of processes and priorities across the Division and Enterprise. The RPL will provide direction and set priorities for a local team of Associates focused on day-to-day operations including site physical operation and maintenance, health & safety, and ensuring Associates within the plant have the resources they need to enable business outcomes; with a focus on creating an environment that fosters an exceptional Associate experience, the RPL commitment is critical in representing the overall plant needs, acting as a liaison to supporting functions within the facility (i.e., IT, HR, external contracts, construction, etc.). This position will be located in Elkton, Maryland, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.* Responsibilities: - Recognize the challenges of supporting a stand-alone plant and work to actively drive connection to the broader Division - Advocate on behalf of the plant to ensure the plant is represented in Divisional processes to the same extent as cluster-based locations - Maintain a safe and healthy environment for all Associates, contractors, and visitors by ensuring standard and compliant operation of assigned plant locations - Drive a team approach to plant support by providing local direction and priorities for Plant Operations Associates, including Facilities, EH&S, Building Administration and Reception - Partner with the Functional leaders of these same Associates to drive work priorities, including participation in Contribution & Compensation committees and Performance & Development discussions to ensure Associates receive direction and feedback - Assume financial responsibility for Plant Operations including forecasting, cost center monitoring and representing plant needs & opportunities in financial investments - Provide plant overviews and lead plant tours for various internal and external audits or visits, and represent plant sites as signatory for regulatory logs (i.e., OSHA) - Participate and act as a representative in Space Planning strategy development and execution - Ensure an environment of diversity, equity, and inclusion where associates can bring their full selves to the workplace - Team with other Regional Plant Leaders to strive for consistency in areas of responsibility across all MPD plants
