Job Description

- POSITION SUMMARY/PURPOSE
- The purpose of this position is to protect and promote health, prevent illness and injury, and alleviate suffering through nursing diagnosis and treatment. Demonstrates leadership in the professional practice setting through oversight of the interdisciplinary health care team to provide holistic care and advocate for patients and families served.

- License /Certification
- Required:
- CA RN license
- BLS

- Education
- Preferred:
- BSN, MSN, or currently enrolled in RN-BSN program.

Department Specific Requirements- ACLS within one year of hire/transfer.
- Specialty certification and/or training program preferred.
- TNCC preferred.
