      Wellfleet, a Berkshire Hathaway Company, seeks an experienced Regulatory Coordinator with Mental Health Parity experience to support the growing legal team of a national health insurance company.

      We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Coordinator to support our Legal team in all regulatory activities related to Mental Health Parity (MHP) compliance. This role will manage regulatory reports and filings, implement legislation, and provide oversight of parity requirements. The Regulatory Coordinator will collaborate closely with key operational areas-including Clinical, Actuarial, Network, and Operational teams- to ensure compliance is fully integrated across the organization.

      In this role, you will...
      • Monitor, review, and implement federal and state MHP regulations
      • Conduct compliance reviews of benefit designs, Non-Quantitative Treatment Limitations (NQTLs), and Utilization Management processes to ensure parity
      • Manage MHP filing and reporting process and respond to regulatory inquiries
      • Partner with Product, Legal, Clinical, and Operations teams to implement and integrate parity requirements into plan designs and operational processes
      • Perform regular MHP oversight and present findings to Delegation Oversight and Compliance Committees
      • Maintain MHP program policies, procedures, and training documents
      • Ensure MHP compliance and manage corrective action plans, as needed
      • Stay current on industry best practices and trends in MHP and ensure Wellfleet initiatives are aligned
      • Perform other duties as assigned

      We are looking for candidates with...
      • Bachelor's degree in related field and a minimum of 3+ years' experience in health insurance compliance, regulatory affairs, or related legal/clinical field or equivalent combination of education and experience
      • Demonstrated experience managing regulatory filings for healthcare company
      • Strong working knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including MHPAEA
      • Proven project management skills
      • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
      • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
      • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
      • Strong work ethic and keen attention to detail
      • Proficient in MS Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

The annual gross base salary range is $85,000 to $95,000. This range anticipates the low and high end of the salary for this position. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills and competencies. Salary is one component of Wellfleet's total compensation and benefits package, which includes medical, vision and dental insurance options, life and accident insurance, 401(k), and short-term and long-term disability insurance.
