What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design electrical systems and perform design calculations for various construction projects
- Review, sign, and seal project documents, ensuring compliance and accuracy
- Handle submittals, respond to RFIs, manage change orders, and prepare record drawings
- Conduct site visits and inspections, participating in commissioning work
- Write and edit specifications for electrical equipment, selecting appropriate systems and devices
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 4 - 6 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer
- EIT certification required; PE preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of mission-critical project experience in advanced manufacturing, data centers, semiconductor, or healthcare
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 2+ years of experience designing power systems
- Advanced knowledge of equipment power requirements, including large-scale standby and emergency power systems with interactive generator controls
- 2+ years of experience performing electrical analysis
- LEED AP BD+C certification is a nice-to-have
- Ability to perform arc flash studies
