      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide advanced technical and analytical support for the Medical Economics Department, focusing on financial and clinical analyses
      - Develop, implement, and utilize databases and reporting tools to extract data and generate reports
      - Conduct impact analyses and modeling, assessing utilization trends and preparing recommendations for management
      - Utilize coding languages (e.g., SAS, SQL, R) to extract claims and membership data for advanced healthcare analytics
      - Lead small to medium-sized projects and support larger project components while ensuring deliverables are met

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Business Informatics, Math, Statistics, Economics, or related field
      - Three (3) to five (5) years of progressively responsible operational or consulting experience in managed care data and statistical analysis
      - Proficiency in relational database principles and coding, including SQL, SAS, and R
      - High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio)
      - Knowledge of medical terminology and coding methodologies, including HCPC, CPT, and ICD-9

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Certification as a Professional Coder (CPC) is highly desired
      - Experience with application development principles
      - Familiarity with business intelligence reporting tools
      - Willingness to pursue continuing education in healthcare systems and health insurance products
      - Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills
