What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct research to develop new functionalities and improve existing technologies for real-time video processing
- Publish patents and peer-reviewed papers in top conferences related to computer vision, audio, and speech
- Collaborate with other research engineers and contribute to research and code reviews
- Design, implement, and evaluate algorithms related to video processing and meeting analytics
- Help deploy research models and tools in partnership with engineering teams
What is Required (Qualifications):
- PhD in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence) or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of professional experience in Deep Learning, particularly in computer vision, face recognition, or audio processing
- Strong programming skills in Python and C/C++, with experience in ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch
- Ability to publish patents and peer-reviewed papers in relevant conferences
- Competence in maintaining internal research models and packages for reproducibility and computational efficiency
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with real-time video processing and data acquisition
- Familiarity with additional programming languages such as Go, TF-Lite, and TF-Micro
- Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining research packages for ML models
- Collaboration skills for partnering with engineering teams on deploying research models
