      The Revenue Assurance Analyst at Coinstar contributes to the company’s success by optimizing revenue through analysis of transactions, processing, and banking information that may reveal patterns of loss, theft or potential recovery from processing and transport agencies. This role monitors variances, transport and processor performance, and conducts analysis to prepare and summarize findings. This position reports to the Manager, Revenue Assurance.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Optimize processor performance through investigation into processing and bank deposit errors, preparation of supporting documentation and ensuring timely correction of errors.
      • Optimize transporter performance through investigation into pickup and transport errors, preparation of supporting documentation and ensuring timely correction of errors.
      • Work directly with Cash Operations on processor and transport efficiencies, contractual procedure, and reporting.
      • Create and maintain datasets and visualizations to detect and monitor exception patterns indicating possible fraud, imposters, theft, or shrinkage.
      • Analyze daily transaction trends as well as variance activity reported by third party processors of coin to detect exception patterns indicating possible fraud, imposters, theft, or shrinkage.
      • Assist in identification and investigations into internal theft and fraud issues; including direction of field resources as needed.
      • Coordinate the 3rd party claims process through investigation of root cause of losses, preparation of supporting documentation, filing of claims, and ensuring timely collection of pending claims.
      • Review reimbursements paid to Coinstar by third party processors of foreign and mutilated coin and provide reports to management on any exceptions.

      Education & Experience

      • High School Diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
      • 1-2 years’ experience in a data analytics capacity; retail sales audit, retail loss prevention exception management or ecommerce fraud management would be ideal.

      Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

      • Fluent in English
      • Ability to detect patterns and anomalies in large amounts of data.
      • Able to maintain confidentiality.
      • Able to and comfortable networking and working successfully on a remote team, to include video conferencing and remote communication skills.
      • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
      • Pays attention to detail and is process oriented.
      • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with a variety of internal and external customers and vendors.
      • Strong multi-tasking ability, utilizing time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
      • Ability to design and execute process improvements and new processes.
      • Advanced MS Excel skills: e.g., pivot tables, data file import/export, formulas required.
      • Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) preferred.
      • Experience and/or Certification in Power BI or Tableau preferred.

      Business Travel

      • Position requires ability to travel up to 10% of the time, some overnight travel included.

      Salary

      The typical starting salary range for this position is between € 24,199 - € 36,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined by several factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Short-Term incentives are a part of the total compensation package and are based on Company and Individual performance.

      Physical Requirements

      Sedentary work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse, and telephone. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally move about the work site to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. Exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or regularly move objects. Communicate and exchange information with co-workers and other individuals in person and electronically.
