      WHAT IS THE ROLE ABOUT? As our Sales & Marketing Analyst, you will assist the Business Operations team in expanding the capacity and level of strategic support that they provide to the Sales, Marketing and Customer Success teams.

      IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
      • Support Go-To-Market teams (Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success)by building, maintaining, and monitoring reporting dashboards that track sales, marketing, and customer performance.
      • Conduct sales territory analysis, proactively flagging trends, risks and opportunities for improvement, tracking performance trends and advising on potential changes.
      • Analyze sales data and deal approvals and provide insights to support decision-making.
      • Review marketing data, including segmentation, campaign performance tracking, and reporting on return on investment (ROI).
      • Help ensure maintained data quality across systems, troubleshoot issues and support integrations with internal and third-party data sources.
      • Build and improve dashboards, update documentation and training materials, respond to ad hoc analysis requests to contribute to scalable reporting and tool usage.
      • Assist with special projects as needed.


      YOU MUST HAVE (MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE):
      • Bachelor's degree minimum (must be completed/earned by May 2026)
      • 1+ years of professional work experience (including co-op/internship experience) in business operations, marketing analytics, sales support, revenue or similar roles.
      • Good problem-solving skills and experience interpreting different operational needs or challenges and identifying resolutions.
      • Familiarity/hands-on experience with using sales or customer account (CRM) and marketing automation software and/or tools.
      • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with pivot tables, charting, conditional formatting, data validation, and lookup functions.
      • Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace), usage of digital tools for communication and productivity and excellent verbal and written communication skills.


      IDEAL IF YOU HAVE (PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE):
      • Experience working in the publishing, ed-tech, language learning or similar industry
      • Experience using Salesforce or Marketo tools


      LOCATION: Boston-Hybrid

      Position requires current residence within the United States of America, within a commutable distance to and a willingness to work a Hybrid schedule (minimum of Tuesday/Thursday + 3rd additional day) in our Boston, MA office location. Relocation assistance is not available.

      SALARY RANGE: $60,000-$70,000 annual salary

      This position is salaried and is eligible for an annual incentive based on employee and organizational performance.
