      We are searching for a Safety Sitter to perform various duties in providing rounds and observation of assigned patients who may be at risk for suicide or high risk to injury of themselves or others.

      • Hours: 32hrs
      • Shift: Evening shift with weekend and holiday rotation; 3pm-11:30 pm
      • Location: Tobey Hospital – Wareham, MA


      Education and/or Experience Requirements:

      • Equal to completion of four years of high school or equivalent.
      • Additional secondary healthcare training including mental health training is preferred.
      • Proficient computer skills including medical based programs are preferred.
      • Previous similar patient care experience is preferred.
      • Education and experience equivalent to one (1) year of experience is required.
      • CPR certification required within six months.

      Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID 19 and provide required vaccination documentation, unless approved for an exemption or deferral by Southcoast prior to starting employment.
