What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with veterinary customers to grow account revenue
- Promote and sell innovative diagnostic, therapeutic, monitoring, and imaging technologies
- Collaborate with a team including the Area Sales Director and Professional Services Veterinarian to achieve sales goals
- Utilize marketing support to generate leads and enhance brand awareness
- Travel to various call points within the assigned territory
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in a scientific or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant sales experience in capital equipment or medical devices within the animal health industry
- Proven track record of sales success and strong closing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster customer relationships
- Strong computer skills, with experience in CRM management databases; Salesforce.com preferred
