What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships with OEM customers and distributors to meet sales objectives
- Acquire and maintain comprehensive technical knowledge of products, applications, and competitive offerings
- Obtain specifications and approvals from engineering firms and major accounts to enhance sales opportunities
- Assist in strategic planning to provide necessary products and services for assigned accounts
- Provide product training and sales direction to distributors and customers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years of experience in Sales and/or Applications Engineering
- Proven experience in Direct and/or Distributor sales
- Experience in selling Automation products, including Controllers, PLCs, Motors, Actuators, and Robotics
- Ability to serve general industrial clients across various sectors such as Mobile EV, Life Science, and Semiconductor
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with market trends and competitive products in the Automation industry
- Previous experience working with cross-divisional teams
- Strong motivational skills to guide and direct distributors in sales efforts
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and increasing margins
