We have an exciting opportunity available to join Rough Trade as the Sales Assistant of Rough Trade Liverpool, a brand new store opening on Hanover Street in the heart of the city. The store will operate across two floors, a record shop and café on the ground floor and a bar and events space on the first floor. The role is part-time.

You will be responsible for helping to run an iconic record store with like-minded people and will report to the General Manager.

Your duties will include:

- Customer service

- Till operation

- Stock processing and replenishment

- Merchandising

- Supporting in-store event set-up

There may also be an opportunity to work across other areas of the store, and other Rough Trade locations.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

- Passionate about discovering and recommending exciting new music

- Fantastic customer service skills

- Strong attention to detail

- Previous experience working in a fast-paced retail environment is preferred

- Ability to multitask

- Fast learner

- Strong team player who is happy working across several different areas of the store

- Previous retail experience would be preferred

Candidates must be available to work a varied shift pattern including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Additional availability across busy periods would be preferable.
