Job Description
- Req#: 7091
- Generate technical and commercial Proposals in response to customer Requests-For-Quotation within deadlines
- Secure technically and commercially compliant quotations from sub vendors
- Leading the design and Engineering in the interpretations of Customer specifications to fully meet Customer's requirements for technical solution offered
- Lead technical clarification meetings with customers, either virtually or in face-to-face meetings
- Setup costing according to the generated technical and commercial offer in compliance with IP500
- Ensure clean order entry, own the clean order process and be responsible to hand over jobs to project execution
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of competitive offerings from both a commercial and technical standpoint and collaborate with the Product sales manager and regional sales to define the key value propositions for the customer
- Provide support to the global Sales team by sharing product knowledge and technical information
- Provide support to Customers for new proposals and/or feed studies
- Regularly engage in Customer presentations to promote the value and adoption for assigned product(s), either virtually or in face-to-face meetings, to support the overall product communication strategy

- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering
- 5 years experience in application engineering, sales or project management
- Strong knowledge in centrifugal and/or rotary pump technology
- lnterpretation and Analysis of Customer's industrial processes
- Strong PC Skills, Windows and MS Office
- Fluent in English and German, other languages are a plus
- Experience in interacting with international customers is a plus
- Rotating equipment design and manufacturing experience is a plus
- Experience in international bid management is a plus
